About the GP Liaison Unit
Barwon Health's GP Liaison Unit (GPLU) was established to assist GPs with access to hospital services and improve communication between Barwon Health and General Practice.

Some of the programs include:

COVID-19 Update #8 - 20 July 2020
Bone Densitometry Tests
Due to a recent high demand for Bone Densitometry tests, the Bone Densitometry Department is prioritising appointments to be only clinically urgent referrals. Appointments for routine tests and less urgent referrals are currently being rescheduled to a later date. Patients affected by this change are being contacted directly by the Bone Densitometry Department. To assist with managing the demand, referrers are asked to indicate the relative urgency of the test.
