The McKellar Centre offers a range of professional aged care services, as well as rehabilitation both as an inpatient and community rehabilitation clinics, community health and palliative care services. It is situated on a vibrant community asset with parkland surrounds and incorporates state-of-the-art equipment.
Formerly known as Grace McKellar, the centre was initiated by a grant from the McKellar family many years ago. It has provided health care to people from Geelong and beyond for more than 50 years.
There are no set hours, but visitors are asked to visit at reasonable hours. It is the policy of McKellar Centre to welcome children and young adults into residential areas, and it is acknowledged that interaction between young and old can be positive and valuable. However, such visits must not inconvenience other residents.
