Careers in Nursing
“After completing the ICU post graduate course in 2017. I have since become a Clinical Nurse Specialist in ICU where I am currently employed. The environment within ICU brings a variety of critically unwell patients with complex diagnosis, two days never being the same. Whilst challenging at times I enjoy the acuity, critical thinking and complexity of the ICU population and value the continual support from a fantastic team of nurses who work closely together in a diverse clinical environment. We are further supported by the clinical support nursing team and educators, who facilitate ongoing education and professional development opportunities at the bedside, through simulation, tutorials, workshops and in services.” - Teigan, ICU Clinical Nurse Specialist
