I am due to have major orthopaedic surgery (e.g. hip or knee) and have developed a rash or sore on my leg or in my groin. What should I do?
Please phone the Preadmission Nurse for advice as soon as you notice this, as it may affect your surgery. Your surgery may need to be postponed, as the risk of infection is too great.
