Safety, Quality and Improvement Award Category (Poster Submission)
Barwon Best Care Awards recognises individuals, teams, departments or units for their achievements in providing best care, to every person, every day so that everyone feels cared for.
Work Health and Safety Award Category (Nominations)
Creating and maintaining a healthy and safe workplace is a key organisational priority. The Work Health and Safety Awards recognise significant contributions and efforts that Barwon Health employees and teams have made, in order to achieve this goal.

Clinical Education and Training Award Category (Nominations)
The purpose of the Clinical Education and Training Awards category is to show formal appreciation for people who demonstrate exemplary standards and promote excellence in education and training through scholarship and innovation. These awards are designed to highlight the culture of learning and teaching that we aim to cultivate at Barwon Health; where we all willingly share expertise to develop ourselves, our colleagues and the future health workforce.
People and Culture "Living our Values" Award Category (Nominations)
The purpose of the 'Living the Values' awards is to show formal recognition for those in our organization who demonstrate the Barwon Health Values. There is an award for each of our 5 Barwon Health Values; Respect, Compassion, Commitment, Accountability and Innovation.
Barwon Health Leader Award (Nominations)
This award gives staff an opportunity to nominate and recognise a colleague for their outstanding leadership contribution to Barwon Health. The Leadership award is awarded to a staff member who has demonstrated outstanding personal leadership on any scale and has consistently demonstrated our Barwon Health leadership capabilities and behaviours as outlined in the Leadership Capability Framework. This award can be presented to an employee who does not necessarily need to be a Manager – we all have the capability to show personal leadership excellence in our day to day work.
Consumer Advisor Award (Nominations)
A number of people have been appointed as Consumer Advisors and this award recognises their valuable contribution to consumers and the community of Barwon Health.
