How will the BEPC benefit the Geelong community?

The Barwon Early Parenting Centre aims to provide specialist support to families within our region free of charge. Families with children aged 0 – 4 years will have access to services such as sleep settling support through to strength-based parenting programs. These services will be offered by a range of multidisciplinary clinicians. The flexible, targeted approach is going to enhance and enrich the attachment between children and their parents / caregivers, allowing families within Geelong and the region to achieve their parenting goals.

The aim is for the parents of Geelong to feel more supported and connected with their children so that their children can thrive!

What kind of team/culture are you looking to build?

The Early Parenting Centre will be a team of multidisciplinary clinicians offering a wraparound service for the families of Geelong. The aim is for a positive team culture that fosters collaboration, and where values are aligned. The team will foster a strong understanding of the first 1000 days of the children’s life and implement supportive, caring and non-judgemental programs in a fun and relaxed way. Being passionate about improving the relationships of families in Geelong is going to be essential in building a nurturing and respectful team environment.
