Specialist clinic appointments are allocated based on the information provided in the referral from your local doctor, which helps us to understand how urgent your problem is. It is important that you tell your local doctor if your condition changes.

Barwon Health aims to offer a first appointment within 30 days to all patients with urgent problems. Patients with routine (non-urgent) problems are offered appointments as they become available. Each clinic has different waiting times for non-urgent appointments. Some clinics have extended waiting times when there is a high demand for appointments.
