The Sunrise Centre is a state-of -the-art exercise and rehabilitation centre, providing specialised services to people in the Geelong and Barwon South West communities.
Services include:
Oncology Rehabilitation
Interventions before, during and after cancer treatment to reduce the impact and side effects of cancer treatment. Individually prescribed exercise and rehabilitation is safe, can improve your cancer treatment tolerance, and help you recover faster. It can also reduce the risk of cancer progression and recurrence.
1:1 sessions and appointments available Monday to Friday, and multiple group options including our eight week oncology rehabilitation programs (including twice weekly exercise and shared discussion based on Cancer Council Victoria’s education programs).
Links with dietetics, psychology, speech pathology, audiology, occupational therapy, and social work.

Cardiac Rehabilitation
This eight-week exercise and education program assists people with recovery from a heart event by providing information to reduce future risk, help manage symptoms and return to everyday activities
The program operates on Monday and Thursday and offers individualised assessment with a rehabilitation physician, cardiac nurse and exercise physiologist.
