For over 50 years, volunteers have supported the vital work of Barwon Health and have enhanced the health services provided by our organisation. 

Volunteers have proven to benefit our consumers and optimise the overall health and well-being of those we support and care for. Volunteers are an integral part of the health professional team and are highly valued.

We want people of all ages, abilities, beliefs and culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to join us as we build our volunteer service.

Please note, in adapting to a post-COVID-19 environment, our volunteers are providing support where it is truly needed most. The focus for all volunteer roles across the organisation is now be on adding to the patient experience of our consumers - particularly roles that support social, emotional and recreational wellbeing will be the key criteria for volunteer recruitment.
