Dietitians

Specialist nutrition and dietary services are available at Barwon Health's community health centres to assist with:

  • Healthy eating
  • Nutritional deficiencies
  • Advice to lose/gain weight
  • Cancer
  • Diabetes
  • Diagnosed food allergy or intolerance
  • Dysphagia
  • Eating disorders
  • Gastrointestinal disorders (e.g. bloating, constipation, diarrhoea, coeliac disease, diverticular disease, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome)
  • Heart disease or stroke
  • High blood pressure
  • High cholesterol or triglyceride levels
  • Infants and children (e.g. fussy eating, poor growth, food allergy, nutritional deficiencies)
  • Kidney or liver disease
  • Polycystic ovarian syndrome
  • Pregnancy nutrition
  • Unintentional weight loss or frailty
