We provide care, support and management plans for people with nutritional and dietary issues.

About us

Dietitians take the most up-to-date scientific evidence and research and turn it into practical and easy to understand food-related information and advice. They have specialised knowledge of nutrition and health throughout all stages of life, including pregnancy and lactation, paediatrics and aged care.

Dietitians help patients, families and carers to manage, prevent and treat a range of conditions by assessing nutritional requirements and working with them to develop practical, achievable dietary solutions tailored to individual medical needs, eating habits and lifestyles.

The Barwon Health Nutrition and Dietetics department provides services to people in the hospital, rehabilitation centres, community health centres, aged care facilities and at home.
