The University Hospital Geelong Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is designed to treat and care for people who are seriously ill, at risk of developing a serious complication, or recovering from major surgery.

The ICU cares for patients of all ages – infants and toddlers, adolescents, adults and elderly – covering a diverse patient population, including cardiac, general surgical, medical respiratory, infectious, behavioural health, intermediate level, and patients requiring specialised services.
