Barwon Health’s Endoscopy and Day Procedure Unit is located within the Youang Surgery Centre on Bellerine Street Geelong.

Services are provided for patients undergoing a broad range of surgical, diagnostic procedures, intravenous therapy, abdominal paracentesis, and CVC line insertions.

Ward procedures performed in recovery include infusions – Intragam, Infliximab, Magnesium, Lignocaine, Iron, Abatecept, Tysabri, Blood transfusions, Allergy testing and Abdominal Paracentesis. Other procedures performed include CVC line insertion, lumbar punctures and testosterone implants.

Endoscopy and Day Procedure Unit is located on Level 1 within the Youang Surgery Centre on Bellerine Street Geelong opposite the main entrance of University Hospital Geelong. This service has recently relocated from the Gretta Volum Centre  – see map here.
