Radiation Oncology - Thu Tran

Background

I have 20+ years’ experience in Radiation Oncology Medical Physic in both private and public health services in NSW and Victoria. I have a Bachelor Honours degree (Physics) as well as two Masters (Physics and Business Administration).

I am an ACPSEM Accredited Physicist with a heavy involvement in training and education through the ACPSEM Certification program.  

Research Focus 

Currently, I am supporting the team in their various research initiatives. 

My previous interests have included business drivers, standards for specialised treatment techniques and radiotherapy practices, data mining, novel film dosimetry system, and algorithms in treatment planning systems.
