About Us

Background

I completed a Bachelor of Engineering in biotechnology in Vietnam and then studied a Master of Engineering by research in South Korea. After working for 1 year in R&D within a medical company, my interest and focus moved towards biological sciences. I moved to Australia in 2013 and joined Barwon Health as a Medical Scientist.

Research Focus

I have contributed to the laboratory work associated with the Barwon Infant Study (BIS); processing and storage of bio-samples; completing the DNA extraction from over 4,000 bio-samples for microbiome research.
