Child Health Research Unit - Nakita Clements

Background

I have been coordinating the Barwon Infant Study since 2016, currently leading a multi-disciplinary fieldwork team on the 12th wave of the Barwon Infant Study (BIS), the Primary School review.

I am a Deakin graduate of Biomedical Science, completing an Honours year with the Barwon Infant Study, thesis entitled ‘The Relationship Between Maternal Intake Of Dietary Fibre, Maternal Faecal Short Chain Fatty Acids And Offspring Food Allergy’.  I have been working with the Barwon Infant Study since volunteering as an undergraduate student.
