Barwon Health celebrates 2024 International Clinical Trials Day in style
International Clinical Trials Day arrives each May as an opportunity to pause in reflection and recognition of all that has been accomplished thanks to clinical trials and the people behind them.
This year, Barwon Health celebrated 2024 International Clinical Trials Day with a morning tea for participants, friends of research, donors, researchers, clinicians and clinical trials staff, generously hosted by the Barwon Health Foundation.
Prof Pete Vuillermin, Clinical Director of Research and A/Prof John Amerena, Director of the Cardiology Research Unit, spoke about the impact of clinical trials at Barwon Health and the Adrian Costa Clinical Trials Centre, and updated us about some exciting new trials coming soon.
