Room 64 | A Palliative Care Podcast

Room 64 was the room where Evelyn Brooks spent the final three weeks of her life. But it was more than just bricks and mortar. It was people, love, and support. “Room 64” is a podcast about the stories that came out of that room – and other rooms like it in Barwon Health’s Palliative Care Unit. Through storytelling and personal experiences, this podcast explores palliative care and the difficult topics of death and dying with the goal of making everyone a little more comfortable about talking about what matters most.

Healthy You Healthy Baby Podcast

In May, Barwon Health launched the Healthy You, Healthy Baby podcast, speaking with a range of Barwon Health clinical experts on a series of topics relating to keeping active during pregnancy and beyond. Keeping active during and after pregnancy has many benefits to physical and mental health.

The Healthy Communities Unit is joining forces with other teams in our health service who work with people who are pregnant or have given birth to share the health and wellbeing benefits of staying active during and after pregnancy. We are promoting education programs and information to help people cope with the physical and mental health changes of pregnancy.
