Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander carers
Palliative care is available to support Aboriginal people and Torres Strait Islanders with an illness that is likely to shorten their life. It supports both you and your family to have the best quality of life as you travel on the journey to the Dreaming.
Wathaurong Aboriginal Cooperative
We have been a one-stop-shop for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who need health services since 2008. We offer consultations, testing, procedures and counselling, and we can hook you up with appropriate services if we don't offer what you need. Our services operate from North Geelong, as well as from our outreach service in Colac.
So for all your health needs, please contact us to make an appointment.

This guide aims to help Aboriginal people, their families and services understand what this palliative care ‘journey’ may hold for them and achieve the best possible care.
