EOI sought for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander artists for future Early Parenting Centre
Applications are now open to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander artists living in the Barwon South West Region to create art
work for Barwon Health’s Early Parenting Centre (EPC) at the McKellar Centre in North Geelong.
Due for completion in December 2023, the EPC will support families of children aged 0-4 years by offering comprehensive parenting programs, consultation clinics and early parenting education.
Barwon Health is seeking four primary art pieces that reflect family-focused care and positive health and wellbeing and complement the architectural colour palette that is inspired by local flora and fauna.
A panel comprising of Barwon Health staff and representatives from Wathaurong and Waddawurrung Traditional Owners will select the successful applicants, with remuneration provided to each artist to complete the project.
