On Friday, November 29, Barwon Health hosted its 2024 Annual Meeting, which was livestreamed online.

During the event, Chief Executive Frances Diver and Barwon Health Board member Professor Brendan Crotty provided insights into the year’s key achievements and milestones that have shaped the organisation’s progress.

The meeting also featured a presentation by Professor Michael Berk, a globally recognised leader in psychiatry and mental health research. Professor Berk shared how groundbreaking research is transforming mental health care and workforce development. He also highlighted Geelong’s transformation into a thriving “Eds and Meds” community, where innovation in education and healthcare is driving progress and excellence.
