Aged Psychiatry Services

Aged Psychiatry Service provides continuing care services for consumers aged 65 and over with existing complex mental illness and those who develop a mental illness later in life. We provide specialist psychiatric assessment, risk assessment, treatment and case management for aged consumers experiencing mental illness.

Clients with dementia

Aged Psychiatry Service offers assessment and intervention for clients with Dementia who also have a mental illness. We offer a crisis response risk assessment, medication advice and secondary consultation.

Behavioural interventions for behaviours and psychological symptoms (BPSD) associated with dementia are provided by Dementia Support Australia. Call 1800 699 799.
