Barwon Practitioner Portal

This portal allows health practitioners to:

Register a new practice with Barwon Health
Register or modify health professionals working at your practice
Register for access to electronic radiology images requested through Barwon Medical Imaging

Why do we ask you to complete notification of practitioner changes through the portal?

Currently, Barwon Health does not receive a direct feed of practitioner information from external bodies such as the National Health Services Directory (NHSD). We therefore rely on practices providing updates directly to us to ensure to us ensure patient reports are delivered to the correct practitioner at the correct practice. Your assistance in providing updates to your practice via the Practitioner Portal is greatly appreciated.

Secure messaging and patient report delivery

From 2024, Barwon Health will be moving towards using HealthLink Secure Messaging as our preferred method of delivering patient reports to your practice. If your practice does not have HealthLink Secure Messaging enabled, you are encouraged to register by visiting https://au.healthlink.net/.

Healthlink is compatible with most Practice Management software systems and there is no cost for installation or to receive messages from Barwon Health.

If your practice is unable to utilise secure messaging, we encourage you to contact us to discuss alternative delivery options including fax or post.
