Refugee Health Clinic

Refugees attend the clinic through GP referral for assessment, treatment and ongoing management by infectious diseases physicians who provide specialist support for GPs. Refugees are bulk billed under Medicare and onsite interpreters are utilised.

Paediatric refugees can attend the clinic for assessment and treatment of infectious disease, but also for general paediatric management and follow-up of medical conditions as well as learning and developmental concerns.

Refugees are bulk billed and onsite interpreters are utilised (please notify us on the referral is an interpreter is required).

The clinic is facilitated by a clinical nurse consultant and maintains close links with community services to ensure high-quality care for refugees living in the Geelong area.
