Outpatient Services

The Liver Clinic accepts patients with hepatitis B and C virus infection for assessment, education, counselling and treatment.

Patients are initially seen in a nurse assessment clinic, which is a new initiative we have recently
introduced to aid in patient education, reduce waiting time, increase patient familiarity with the clinic and the staff, and streamline the assessment process for the physician review.

After the nurse assessment, the patient then proceeds to the physician clinic review, which is staffed collaboratively by gastroenterologists, infectious disease physicians, general practitioners, and a liaison psychiatrist.
