Shu Fen graduated from Melbourne University and completed her speciality training at various institutions including Bendigo Health, Western Health, Austin Health and Royal Melbourne Health.
Shu is the recipient of the prestigious NHMRC Post Graduation Scholarship, Rotary Bowel Scan Scholarship and Barwon Southwest Regional Health Integrated Cancer Services Scholarship. Her higher degree examined patients’ choices and preferences towards cancer care across metropolitan and rural areas.
Shu has published a number of research papers and abstracts at both local and overseas forums. She was invited speaker at the 13th Australasian Prostrate conference and the Medical Oncology Group of Australia Annual meeting in 2013. In addition, she was awarded the Audience Choice Award at Barwon Health for an oral abstract on her Masters topic.
Major interests include; gastrointestinal tract, genito-urinary malignancies, lung cancer and melanoma.
