The Community Rehabilitation Centre provides team rehabilitation on an outpatient basis to people living in the community, of all ages. Clients are provided with flexible, goal orientated, individually tailored programs, following team assessment.

Team members may include Medical Services, Rehabilitation Nursing, Social Work, Physiotherapy, Hydrotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Neuropsychology, Recreation Therapy, Speech Pathology, Podiatry, Clinical Psychology, Dietary Services, Prosthetics and Orthotics.

We offer services to clients with:

· neurological conditions, such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinsons disease

· orthopaedic conditions such as fractures and joint replacements, or sprains and strains

· head injury

· spinal cord injury

· amputations

· major trauma

· burns

· pulmonary disease,

· post polio syndrome

Programs may include individual and / or group therapies. Group Therapies may include:

· Back Pain Program

· Get Moving Program

· Pulmonary Rehabilitation

· Relaxation Group

· Community Access Group

· Knee or Hip Group

· Balance Group

· Conditioning Group

· Conversation Group

· Plan and Chat Group

Referral from a Health Professional or Agency is required. All referrals are triaged, and if not suitable for the Community Rehabilitation Centre, will be forwarded to an appropriate agency.
