What service is provided?

The Speech Pathology service:

· Provides assessment and diagnosis and management of inpatients and outpatients as required with communication and/or swallowing disorders of medical & neurological origin, including ICU services and videofluoroscopy.

· Provides assessment, diagnosis and management of inpatients and outpatients with communication and/or swallowing disorders in the areas of Ear Nose & Throat and Head & Neck surgery/radiotherapy.

· Implements appropriate clinical management procedures based on world’s best practice, diagnostic and prognostic indicators and technical knowledge.
