OUT-PATIENT SERVICES

Friday mornings are major consulting day, with mostly new patients. Friday afternoons outpatient cardiothoracic clinic is held in the Outpatient Department for review of post-operative patients and new thoracic referrals. Wednesday and Thursday morning consulations for extra patients if needed.

IN-PATIENT SERVICES

Consulation and surgical management of all cardiac and thoracic patients referred to The Geelong Hospital - Barwon Health. This service covers South Barwon region, Warrnambool, Portland, Port Fairy, Hamilton, Ballarat and Horsham.

OTHER SERVICES

Cardiac Clinical Perfusionists provide and supervise use of cell saver equipment for major vascular and orthapaedic operations.
