Occupational Therapists (OT’s):
- Assess clients of all ages, address relevant difficulties with daily living activities, life roles and access to home facilities.
- Are responsible for facilitating safe and timely discharge to the most appropriate destination.
- Complete home assessments if indicated.
- Recommend and arrange modifications if required or supply of equipment (excluding mobility aids) to promote safe discharge.
- Offer a specialised Hand therapy service for traumatic hand injuries and elective hand surgery.

- Upper Limb Assessment
- Referral to relevant Community Agencies
- Static & Dynamic splinting
- Scar Management (including burns)
