Pregnancy Care Clinic

Women attend the Pregnancy Care Clinic for a booking-in visit and for specialised pregnancy care if required. Referrals and booking visits to the Pregnancy Care Clinic is usually done by your GP and occurs around 14 weeks into pregnancy.

Pregnancy care visits
At your first visit a midwife will discuss your health background, your pregnancy and any concerns you may have. Your preferred model of care will also be discussed.

  • Young Approach to Pregnancy and Parenting (YAPP)
  • Chemical Dependent Unit (CDU)

Perinatal Emotional Health Program
The Perinatal Emotional Health Program (PEHP) is the Victorian Government response to the National Perinatal Depression Initiative, which is committed to early detection, support and treatment for women experiencing perinatal emotional health issues. To read more, click here.
