2010 Geelong Hospital Appeal Launch - Wednesday 17th February 2010
Guests and supporters of the Geelong Hospital Appeal will gather to launch the 2010 appeal and the face of the 2010 appeal young Louie Hehir. Guests will be treated to an evening of drinks and canapes at the Gordon Gallery.
This event offers supporters the chance to reflect on the success of the 2009 Geelong Hospital Appeal and be informed about the fundraising priority for the 2010 Appeal. The 2010 Geelong Hospital Appeal will be raising funds for the re-development of the Geelong Hospital Children's Ward.

Hit the greens at one the region's best networking golf days and help to support the Geelong Hospital Appeal.

World's Longest Lunch - Friday 12th March 2010
The region’s finest chefs and wineries come together each year to provide an exquisite day of fine food and wine. Held in the stunning Botanical Gardens,
guests are treated to a sumptuous feast showcasing the best local produce Geelong has to offer.
Tickets include four courses of delicious dining accompanied by some of the region’s most outstanding wine. The day is a unique opportunity to experience
the culinary skills of the finest local chefs in a day of eating, drinking and merriment.
Guests will be invited to take part in the Chefs Auction and snap up the unique, one-off experiences offered by the restaurants taking part. The auction is our
major fundraiser for the event - so get your groups together and prepare to secure a fantastic prize!
The 2009 event sold out weeks in advance so don’t miss out this time around! Tickets on sale from Monday 11th January 2010. Tickets $95 each.

Our Women Our Children Easter Egg Hunt - Sunday 4th April 2010
The Our Women Our Children Volunteers host their annual Easter Egg Hunt in the gorgeous surroundings of Bellarine Estate Winery on Easter Sunday. The
family friendly event gives kids the chance to hunt for chocolate Easter eggs and join in the other fun activities on offer. Parents can also enjoy the

Hot Chocolate Day – Friday 21st May 2010
Keep away the winter chills and raise money for the Appeal by getting your workplace, social group or friends together for an indulgent morning tea. Host your
own hot chocolate party or visit one of the participating cafes around town who will be donating a portion of their hot chocolate takings on the day.

Bronte's Ball - Saturday 2nd October 2010
Help celebrate the life of young cancer survivor Bronte Russell and help raise funds for the Geelong Hospital Children's Ward at the 2010 Bronte's Ball.
Bronte’s Ball is a celebration of Bronte’s life today after surviving cancer and will help to raise funds for the new Oncology treatment room in the Children’s
Ward at the Geelong Hospital, which we hope will help other families like the Russell family.

See renowned local chefs and hotels battle it out to be crowned the region’s finest eatery at The Culinary Shield raising money for the Geelong Hospital
Appeal. Once again heats will be held at various Geelong and Surf Coast Venues culminating at a grand final event showcasing the best two chefs in the
region.

Gala Day Parade and Family Fun Day – Saturday 20th November 2010
Join in the fun and colour of this iconic Geelong event when the Gala Day Parade and Family Fun Day celebrates its 94th year. Get into the Christmas spirit
with the traditional parade featuring festive floats from local schools, community groups and businesses as well as special celebrity guests. Following the
parade, head to Steampacket Gardens for the Family Fun Day including rides and entertainment for the kids, market stalls, food and showbags. A great day
