Janine Sowden "Dreams Of Love" Performance, featuring Tim McCallum - 4th September 2008
Join us for an intimate evening with world class pianist Janine Sowden as she performs a collection of pieces from her latest album
"Dreams of Love" made in memory of her nephew Luke Hutchinson who died from a rare form of brain cancer.
Local artist Tim McCallum will join Janine in a special guest performance.
Tickets are on sale now for $30 which includes canapes, a copy of Janine's CD and wine tasting courtesy of Otway Estate Winery.
Bookings are essential so please call the Foundation office on 5260 3355 for tickets.

Messages of Love – 5th October 2008 
Light up Geelong’s waterfront with love by taking part in the floating lantern ceremony to raise money for the Andrew Love Cancer
Centre and cancer services. This unique event gives members of the Geelong community the opportunity to purchase a floating
lantern and write a message on it in memory of a loved one lost to cancer, in support of someone currently being treated for the
disease, or in celebration of successfully overcoming it.
Lanterns will be sold for $10 and will go on sale from September 2008.

Toast to the Coast – 1st & 2nd November 2008 
Geelong's annual wine and food festival is throwing it's support behind the Geelong Hospital Appeal by selling merchandise pins
and collecting donations for the Geelong Hospital Appeal at participating wineries.
So while you're visiting some of the region's most outstanding wineries to enjoy wine tasting, delicious food and live music, dig deep
and give to a worthy cause!!

Gala Day Parade and Family Fun Day – 22nd November 2008 
Join in the fun and colour of this iconic Geelong event when the Gala Day Parade and Family Fun Day celebrates its 92nd
year. Get into the Christmas spirit with the traditional parade featuring festive floats from local schools, community groups
and businesses as well as special celebrity guests. Following the parade, head to Johnstone Park for the Family
Fun Day including rides and entertainment for the kids, market stalls, food and showbags. A great day out for the whole
family!

Schools, businesses and community groups can also be part of the fun by entering a float in the parade. Float entry forms will be coming soon!

World’s Longest Lunch – 13th March 2009 
The region’s finest chefs and wineries come together each year to provide an exquisite day of fine food and wine. Held in the
stunning Botanic Gardens, guests are treated to a sumptuous feast showcasing the best local produce Geelong has to
offer, each course accompanied by wines from renowned local wineries. A great day out under the treetops!

Easter Egg Hunt – 12th April 2009

The Our Women Our Children Volunteers host their annual Easter Egg Hunt in the gorgeous surroundings of Bellarine
Estate Winery on Easter Sunday each year. The family friendly event gives kids the chance to hunt for chocolate easter
eggs and join in the other fun activities on offer including crafts, rides, workshops and music. Parents can also enjoy
the entertainment and the local food and wine available to sample. A great day out for the whole family!
