Head chefs from Geelong's most renowned hotels are set to battle it out to be the Culinary Shield winner through a series of heats and the final cook off. The chefs will be cooking for a cause with all funds contributed to the Geelong Hospital Children's Ward.

The heats, held in early August, will see each chef serve up their best dishes to guests and judges at their respective venues over three consecutive nights. The chefs compete to win a spot at the Culinary Shield final on 28 August.

The top-two rated chefs will go head-to-head in the final at Empire Grill restaurant cooking a delicious three course meal for 100 lucky guests and the celebrity judging panel. The contenders will use the same base ingredients in the same kitchen.

A very limited number of tickets will be available in July for the heats and final with proceeds donated to the Geelong Hospital Appeal.
