EASTER HUNT RAISES MONEY FOR THE KIDS
4/17/2008

The Our Women Our Children Volunteers hosted the third annual Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday, attracting a crowd of hundreds to the Bellarine Estate Winery. Families enjoyed their picnics and were entertained with stalls, music, rides, craft activities, drumming workshop and of course the Easter Egg Hunt.

Channel 7’s Sunrise star Mark Beretta was the special guest on the day, mingling with the crowd and taking part in the fun activities. Andrew Mackie, Geelong Cats player and patron of the Our Women Our Children Volunteers also attended.

There was also a visit from the Easter Bunny who hopped in to see the families and help with the hunt.

The day was a wonderful success with over $11,000 raised for the Paediatric Unit in the new Emergency Department at the Geelong Hospital.
