Local businesses took to 13th Beach Golf Links for the VECCI 12th Annual Charity Golf Day, which raised funds for the Geelong Hospital Appeal.

Almost 40 organisations were represented on the day, enjoying the Ambrose golf event under clear skies.

Players were also treated to a gourmet bbq and drinks at the conclusion of the game and helped to raise more funds by taking part in the fundraising raffle. The winning team on the day was Barwon Health Team captained by Stuart Pickering.

The event raised over $15,000 with proceeds going towards the re-development of the Geelong Hospital Children's Ward.
