Overcast conditions failed to stop the 93rd G Force Gala Day Parade on Saturday 21st November which saw thousands of children and families take to the streets of Geelong to watch the colour and excitement of the parade featuring floats, dancers, children’s characters and special guests.

Popular children’s characters SpongeBob Squarepants and Patrick Starfish, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog and Captain Feathersword, along with clowns, animals and children all brought the parade to life.

This year the event raised over $50,000 for the Geelong Hospital Appeal and the re-development of the children's ward.

Special guests including Channel Nine's Peter Hitchener, WB Kids host Heidi Valkenberg, along with Sam Clark and Empress Stilt walkers added some star power to the parade, along with local favourites Half Cat and the Geelong Football Club players.

Crowds were also amazed with the wonderful aerial display provided by the RAAF Roulettes.
