BRONTE'S BALL - SATURDAY 22ND OCTOBER 2011
6/23/2011

Little cancer survivor Bronte Russell and her family are supporting the treatment of children with cancer at Geelong Hospital with 'Bronte's Ball' on Saturday 22nd October.

Bronte’s family had only been in the Geelong area two years after selling their western district farm after their daughter’s cancer diagnosis. They were thrilled to be able to continue Bronte's visit in Geelong Andrew Love Centre rather than travelling to Melbourne. Bronte has also visited the Emergency Department of Geelong Hospital several times, pre and post paediatric area and spent many nights in the Children’s Ward. The family have seen great improvements over this time thanks to people’s generous donations. Bronte is an inspirational child that continues to defy the odds against this rare aggressive cancer.

To support the health service that has supported their family, Bronte’s mother Natalie is once again organising Bronte’s Ball in October to raise finds for the Geelong Hospital Appeal. Tickets $110 per person (tables of 10) including a three course meal, beverages, live and silent auction and major raffle. Entertainment will be provided by Mark Seymour and his band and Good Faces for Radio.

To purchase tickets contact the Barwon Health Foundation on 03 5260 3355.
