Fundraising

 

The Foundation greatly values the support of community groups, who throughout the year, host their own fundraising event for the Geelong Hospital Annual Appeal. Some examples of past community events are:

· Band competitions
· Art exhibitions
· Fetes or carnivals
· Raffles or Auctions
· Casual Dress/Fancy Dress days at work or school

 

If you are interested in hosting your own fundraising event, the Barwon Health Foundation is able to provide you with an information kit to assist with the preparation and carrying out of your activity. Interested groups need to register their event with the Foundation to ensure that all necessary requirements are fulfilled and that the team is able to offer support as required. To receive an information kit, please contact the Barwon Health Foundation or download the kit here and return it the Foundation office.

Another way in which you can help fundraise for the Barwon Health Foundation is by agreeing to have a Geelong Hospital Annual Appeal donation tin within your workplace or organisation. These tins are dropped off directly to you and collected once they have been filled.
