Centre for Education & Practice Development

 

The aim of the Centre for Education & Practice Development (CEPD) is to promote evidence-based contemporary nursing practice by delivering innovative continuing education programs for Registered Nurses in Barwon Health and Regional Health Agencies.

 

 

The Clinical Nurse Educators (CNEs) have an extensive range of clinical and academic qualifications. They provide clinical induction, formal and informal education programs, clinical competency testing, clinical support for students and act as a resource for the Nursing Division in their professional development.

 

The CEPD is closely affiliated with Deakin University, Gordon Institute of Technology and regional health agencies in the provision of undergraduate and postgraduate education.
