Youang Surgery Centre main entrance closure: From 4 April 2024
The main entrance of the Youang Surgery Centre on Bellerine Street will be closed from 4 April 2024.
Patients who have upcoming surgery or appointments at the Youang Surgery Centre are advised that they will need to access the centre via an alternative entry.
An alternative patient drop-off spot, entry and accessible pedestrian access will be available from the rear of the centre via Argyle Street.
The main entrance of the Youang Surgery Centre on Bellerine Street will be closed from 4 April 2024.
These disruptions are due to building works making way for the commencement of the Barwon Women’s and Children’s (BWC) project.
In addition to the main entrance disruption, it’s important to understand there will be some noise and vibrations.
These disruptions are expected to be most pronounced during the initial few months of the project, specifically during the demolition and structure works.
Please rest assured that our primary concern remains the safety and well-being of our patients, staff, and visitors.
We are taking all necessary precautions to minimise the impact of these disruptions and ensure that patient care remains our top priority throughout the construction process.
